 Watchman On the Wall Prayer Ministry
“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed Watchmen, All day and night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62: 6-7 (NSAB)
The Watchman Prayer Ministry is a 24 hour / 7 day Lay Ministry at Harvest Church. Each Watchman commits to spending one hour each week in prayer for our Pastors, Ministries, needs of our church family and intercessory prayer.
WHO CAN BE A WATCHMAN?
Harvest Watchmen Ministry includes anyone who desires to pray for our church and community. There are students, couples, singles, families, incarcerated and homebound Watchmen.
WHAT DO YOU PRAY ABOUT?
Watchmen pray for specific prayer needs requested by the pastors, ministry leaders, church family, church attendees and non-members.There is a list called “Names on the Crosses”. It includes specific names that have been submitted. They either do not know Jesus as their Savior or that have step away from their walk with God. All the lists are available at the Prayer Center in the Grand Foyer or they can be emailed to you.
WHEN DO YOU PRAY?
Choose one designated hour or prayer time zone each week from a list of available hours. Please stop by the Prayer Booth for more information.
WHERE DO YOU PRAY?
Anywhere you choose—home, office, church, prayer room, outdoors and even on vacation.
WHY DO I CALL THE PRAYER WATCHMAN FOLLOWING ME?
The call you make after your hour expresses not only your love and support of the Watchman who follows you, but also provides the accountability that holds each one answerable to their hour of commitment.
HOW DO YOU SIGN UP?
Sign up at the Prayer Ministry Center located in the Grand Foyer outside the Sanctuary. You may call the church at 817-485-2703, Ext. 234 and you will be directed to the Worship Ministry, who can answer your questions. And you can send an email to pray4me@theharvestchurch.org
HOW DO YOU RECEIVED OR ASK FOR PRAYER?
Anyone can call the 24 hour Prayer Hotline, 817-355-HUGS (4847),
Drop request in the offering bags (there are prayer requests card in the back of the pews) or in the Brown Prayer Boxes located throughout the church.
