Children's Ministries - For children from birth thru grade 5
Our Mission
We connect children with God and one another by providing environments for children to come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, grow in their understanding of the Bible as God's word and to serve others.
Sunday Mornings
| Children’s Bible Fellowship Classes (9:00 am) Ages Birth – 5th Grade Our Children’s Bible Fellowship classes (Sunday School) are designed to promote a “small group” feel that encourages teachers and children to form relationships. We currently use LifeWay curriculum with all of our children’s classes. All children study the same lesson in a way that is age appropriate for their spiritual development. We encourage families to extend their children’s learning at home by reviewing and applying what has been learned at church. |
Extended Teaching Care (10:30 am) Children Birth- 3rd Grade During the worship hour, preschoolers and our younger elementary children enjoy their own “church time”. We know that the second hour of church needs to meet both the needs of our children who are continuing their morning stay and serve as a great opportunity to reach out to our guests. Infants and toddlers are cared for in our well-equipped nursery area. Pre-K children may participate in our Lil’ Kids Church, preschool church program. Kindergarten thru 3rd grades are invited to attend Kids’ Church. Lively music, recreation, snacks, and of course, great Bible teaching round out each and every program. |
Sunday Evenings
Sunday Nights
Harvest Life for Kids
5:30-7:30 pm
Kid Connect Care
Preschoolers: Birth thru Pre Kindergarten
Location: Downstairs "E" & "F" Buildings
Led by: Children's Leadership Team
We offer age appropriate care for preschoolers of all ages. We know that “night–time” can be difficult for many young children and their parents. We want parents to feel comfortable to take a Harvest life class and know that their children are going to be lovingly cared for.

Kid-U is a worship program designed to expose children to different ways of worshipping God. The fall semester will involve preparing for the annual Christmas program as well as checking out new drumline routines. Drama, puppetry, dance, vocal teams, gym games, and great Bible studies round out the program. Kid-U performs in “Big Church”, throughout the semester, during 10:30 am worship services too!

RAVE Worship Group
6th Grade & up
When our kids are old enough to move on to the Student ministry, they still want to grow in their ability to worship and lead others. We provide opportunities for these older kids to lead out with our Kid-U kids during special performances. Rave kids meet before their student activities on Sunday nights to sharpen their skills and receive consistent encouragement. We are proud to offer this special transition ministry for our kids!

Kid Connection Worship Program
Kindergarten-5th Grades
Location: E207 & E211
Led By: Shawnette Gibson & Kid’s Connect Team
Children who attend school all day come to evening church with different needs. They are often “overloaded” with school and home responsibilities. We incorporate fellowship and play into our programming and provide learning activities that give kids opportunities to apply God’s Word to their lives.
This fall we are looking to transform our Wednesday night program. All elementary children will start out the evening together with fun and games, followed by worship. The children will then "break out" into K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade groups for a time of teaching and discussion. Scripture memory and outreach projects are also a goal this year.
We Believe
- Children are a gift from God.
- Children are important to God and Christ died to redeem children from sin.
- Children can be equipped to serve Christ and others.
- Children deserve a safe, positive, nurturing and age appropriate environment.
- Ministry is not just “to” children, but “with” children.
- That God has appointed the parents as the primary spiritual trainers of their children.
- Ministry should be creative, innovative and in touch with the culture.
- Successful ministry is the shared responsibility of children, parents and teachers.
