Personal History

Roger was born and raised in El Paso, where he met his bride-to-be while in high school. They both attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene and moved to Fort Worth in 2001. They now have one beautiful little girl born in January of 2005 and are expecting their second daughter in July of 2006.

Salvation Experience

Roger became a true Christ-follower in middle school at a city-wide rally in El Paso. He didn't know then exactly all that it meant, but gave all that he knew about himself to all that he knew about Christ.

Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas

Hobbies and Interests

Roger loves all things outdoors and working with his hands, and he looks forward to teaching his girls to love God's creation. He enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, shooting, and working on old cars, which were interests that were passed down to him from his family. Roger also enjoys sitting in the living room with Amanda and just watching a movie.
